Understanding your divine direction and purpose in life

Have you ever asked – Where does God want me to be? What location and for what divine purpose?

There’s a divine allocation and grace that awaits you at God’s divine location for your life. Hence, it is important we follow God’s will and direction, so he’ll lead us to the right geographical location where we will excel.

Many times, we lean on our own understanding, believing our set plans and goals should work well, concluding things based on just the present suitation. But what does the future hold? Do you know? Nah! Only God knows.

In the scripture, Abraham obeyed God’s call to go to another place that God promised to give him.
Abraham trusted God to do what he had promised. God has created a specific location for you to go and prosper, he has made this geographical location yours. And has sent a helper to await you there. It’s now left for us to listen, and hear from God, let him choose and then we follow.

The is a place where God has commanded things to work in your favour!
Certain things might not manifest, until you get to that location. The divine allocation awaits you at the divine geographical location which God has designed to favour you.

So, pray, ask God, Where do I go? What country do I school? Which of these schools do I Pick? Which accommodation do I live in?
Life becomes much more easier when we hear from him before making a move.

God promises that if we will obey Him, blessings will follow:

Isaiah 1:19
“If you consent and obey,
You will eat the best of the land;

John 14: 21, “Those who really love Me are the ones who not only know My commandments but also obey them. My Father will love such people, and I will love them. I will make Myself known to them.”

Your Divine purpose

God has given us very specific gifts and strengths. But if you’re in the wrong location, these gifts might not be useful. The right location also connects you with people who want to help you find your purpose and what you’re passionate about; this can be anything. Business, art, economics. Anything!

Trying to discover your life purpose and finding direction can be an overwhelming thing. It might seem like a confusing topic of discussion. You want to do things right, but you’re not sure how. So you’re left confused and helpless.

You can trust God to lead you where he wants you to go. But you’ve got to be patient, and be ready to let him lead!

As Psalm 23:2-3 says, “He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.”

Just remember, You may feel confused, but God isn’t! And he knows the beginning and the end. Only him can do all things and help you.

Hearing From God

As we draw close to the end of the year, we’ll begin to reflect back on the past months, so the new year will be full of thanksgiving. Looking back, you’ll realise even in hard times, God has been faithful.

Year 2022 in few days.

Hearing from God is something that every christian should experience regularly. God constantly speaks to us to give us directions. We can’t miss out on guidance routes with God’s directions.

When we hear from God, we understand the processes of life stages better, because God sees the beginning and the end, so he shows life’s stages to us, and gives us a manual to overcome all obstacles.

Hearing from God to guide us through helps makes our lives better, hence we need to constantly hear from him to guide us in the new year.

In the bible, people who heard from God, were overcomers.
Samuel, Abraham, Moses. The story of Samuel is found in 1 Samuel 3:1-10.

Isaiah 6:8
Then I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, “Whom shall I send, and who will go for Us?” Then I said, “Here am I. Send me!”

Exodus 19:9
The Lord said to Moses, “Behold, I will come to you in a thick cloud, so that the people may hear when I speak with you and may also believe in you forever.” Then Moses told the words of the people to the Lord.

How to hear from God:

– Be close to God. Set your mind on Jesus. You can’t be thinking of doing something outside the word of God and still remain focus. 100% concentration is needed.

-Observe your quiet time, set aside a time for God, a time for prayers.

– Listen carefully to hear God’s voice.

– Wait in silence for God to speak after prayers.

– When God calls, respond, and obey him.

-Read the Bible, pray everyday if you want to grow in the Lord.

Acts 17:27

God did this so that they would seek him and perhaps reach out for him and find him, though he is not far from any one of us.

UK Living – Reality Of Living Abroad

Earlier this year, I watched a video where a lady left the UK to Nigeria to start a business. She believed her business was going to make more profit back home (Nigeria).

I’ve also spoken with few people, who said they prefer life back in their home countries.

What could be the reason behind their sudden change in plans? Most people come into the UK with big plans, why the sudden change to go back home?

Personally, I believe people have high expectations before arrival in the UK, and when things don’t go the way they expect, they start panicking.

Life generally comes with ups and downs, but the way we react to the suitations we face, determines how we’ll scale through.

I’ve shared some messages I got from people about life suitations abroad and how they feel. I got these messages when I once shared a post on my story on Instagram, and I got some messages from people who shared similar experiences. I’ve decided to share three messages I received with y’all.

Names have been changed for data protection.

Rose, from Belgium. Currently Living in London.

“I also felt like that when I moved to London for the first year, but then when I left because of work I realised that I actually had found lots of hapiness and a new family there. However, I had too many expectations to look at it properly.
I’m from Belgium. Lived in London and totally loved it but had to leave for work in Paris. However, Paris is not a city I ever really dreamt of but work opportunity was great. Yeah London is loneliness is real, but I feel like it’s the same in every big cities although once you meet people in London they’re usually quite nicer than in other cities haha”. (Back in London)

Oyin, From Nigeria currently living in the US.

“The major problem is that people have high hopes on obodo Oyinbo even before arriving.
They think it’s all rosy here especially coming from Africa. So when they come and realise it’s not all perfect abroad too, the hustle here the bills and the fact that loneliness here is on another level scares the hell outta them. They literally feel abroad is 100 percent okay, and hence the disappointment when they see the struggle here upon arrival”.

Davidson, from Nigeria. Currently Living in London.

Life here is boring. I don’t know why people are here. They spend most of their lives working and paying bills, doing less valuable jobs. Okay! They are making money yea, but the money goes back to the UK system. I don’t see myself living here permanently. I might just be shuffling between Nigeria and UK.

Finally, a little advice from Presh

If you just arrived in the UK, and you’re trying to find your balance, it might take a while, but keep your head up. You’ve got to find your own happiness, do what you love and be where you want, look beyond the present suitation and focus on why you’re at your present location. Draft out a plan and never leave God out of your decisions.

Please share your abroad experience below, we’ll love to read your story.

Trusting God In Hard Times

God hasn’t promised sun without rain. Not in this present world. But he has promised to be with us.The Bible is full of God’s promises and reminders about him being with us.

When life seems full of pain, we need to remember what Paul said to Timothy about “endurance”.
The Christian race isn’t all smooth. It’s not an easy path. In the Christian race, you may have to go through some difficult times.

But the question is…Will you endure to the finish? In the Christian race, will you be faithful through all of the hardships? However, God has promised us that he will keep us and save us. But the process is not automatic. We must endure hardship as good soldiers of the lord and as leaders.

Often, we are trapped by our unbelief and fear, but God is preparing us for the end-time harvest. He wants us to be disciplined and prepared.

God didn’t say everything was going to be smooth, but he assured us that he is going to see us through all the hard times.

Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego showed us in the Bible how to worship God in hard times. They were able to trust and worship God in difficult Situations. God delivered them, same God is ready to deliver you from every situation. All you need is to trust in him.

When things go wrong, as a Christian, I know it can be devastating, but remember that 1 John 5:14 says “And this is the confidence that we have towards him, that if we ask anything according to his will he hears us.”

God hears us, he knows when we need him, therefore your prayers will never go unheard.

Let me put a smile on your face…

Do you know that with God on our side, we have nothing to fear?
For he has promised us that he is with us. Joshua 1:9 says “Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.”

And please put your trust in God, Trust him alone.

Psalm 118:8
“It is better to take refuge in the LORD than to trust in man.

And remember that Hebrews 11:1
Says “Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. Put your faith into action…. And fear not!

2 Timothy 4:18
“The Lord will rescue me from every evil deed and bring me safely into his heavenly kingdom.

For all God’s promises are YES and AMEN. Trust in him alone!

Divine direction: Seeking God’s guidance in your decisions

For God’s plans towards us are great. It might take a while to realise the path God has destined for you. But once you realise his plans over your life, and you begin to work in the that direction, things will begin to make sense.

Seeking direction from God, helps prevent us from making mistakes. Asking God to lead our path makes things easier. Like they say, success doesn’t come easy but going in God’s direction and plan for your life helps connect you to the helpers he has destined for you. “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.” – Proverbs 3:5-6.

Direction from God is key. Location is also important. Does he want you there? Will it work out for you in that city? What is God saying concerning you? How does he want you to go about things? Ask and seek him first, don’t just do things because it’s working out for everyone. The ways of God are different from the ways of man. Only God sees the future and he only knows what’s best for you.

Sometimes we get confused about how to go about life. I want you to take a deep breath and remember that God listens.
